First goliath of the season.

Left the dock at 5:45 AM. Glass calm out of Naples Bay, no chop the whole run. Got to the wreck around 6:40, still dark enough that the bait was sitting right on top.

Dropped a frozen sardine on a 12/0 circle hook with 200lb fluoro. Took about 90 seconds. The drag screamed and didn't stop.

Took three of us 25 minutes to get her boat-side. Easily 350+ lbs of goliath. Quick photo, then back over she went. That fish is older than me, my mom, and my entire boat combined.
